Brothers Leagues Club, in conjunction with their 3 senior sides turned their points into dollars for the Make a Wish Foundation.

With $ 5 being donated for every point scored throughout the season the licensed Club rounded up their efforts on the field to make a $10,000 donation to the Make A Wish foundation.

Group General Manager Jason Salecich said” this was a great initiative started by our under 18’s and two senior grades. The fact that our A grade team went back-to-back and won the Grand final was a fantastic way to ensure they scored as many points as possible during the season. I am very proud of their efforts on the field and equally importantly just how their efforts have led to an amazing outcome for an amazing charity off the field.”

President of Make a Wish FNQ Eileen Phillips said. “This was amazing! Who would have thought there was an organization up here providing us $10,000. We are so grateful to Brothers Cairns and this money will provide joy and delight to children who need the support and something to smile about as they battle their illness. I can’t thank Brothers enough” she said.
