Peter Kinch worked as a full-time musician his whole life. Starting out as a lead guitarist in rock and show bands, he worked with many of Australia’s top bands (Cold Chisel, Angels, Mental as Anything, Rose Tattoo, to name but a few), toured Australia, and settled in Perth with one of the biggest show bands of the time.
Peter’s musical journey extended far beyond Australia, as he toured internationally, gracing stages across Europe, the USA, Asia, and Canada. He also freelanced as a solo artist and with 7-piece bands throughout venues in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, including places like the Hilton, the Basement, The Orient, Munich Brauhaus, and Jupiters Casino, among others.
His music encompasses a spectrum from cruisy easy-listening jazz to rockin’ blues and all the party favorites, ensuring a vibrant and diverse experience. Not only a performer, but Peter is also a dedicated guitar teacher, offering lessons both locally and in his Sydney studio. With three original CDs to his name, he continues to leave a lasting mark on the world of music.
